Kevin Patrick Cullen

Kevin Patrick Cullen is an award-winning Irish writer, working in the fields of poetry, drama, prose and literary journalism. Currently, he is preparing for a novel set in contemporary Serbia dealing with the themes of empire, exile, borderlands, Byzantine mysticism and the struggle for the sacred within the Total Empire of desacrilised neoliberalism.

My Journey

Kevin Patrick Cullen finished his studies in Anglo-Irish Literature and Drama at University College Dublin. Since then, life has taken him on a strange, winding path, from teaching and publishing in Albania, to reporting from the Euromaidan Revolution in Ukraine in 2014, to living and writing in small town Serbia, to volunteering in the Republic of Georgia, long distance truck driving in the USA, and managing operations at a refugee camp on the Polish-Ukrainian border during the Russo-Ukrainian war.
